Losses to Be Expected

Losses to Be Expected is the story of a trans-border courtship. In a small Austrian village on the border to Czechia, Sepp Paur, a widower, begins to look for a new wife. Through his telescope he observes the widow Paula Hutterová, who lives with her sisters on the Czechian side in an equally tiny village. On one side we see affluence and a man who is looking, on the other side poverty and a woman who can't imagine that over there in Austria, everything is so lovely and clean.
