SYNOPSIS

Three men. Two brothers and their father, whose past catches up with them. Former star crooner Richie Bravo chases after his faded glory through a wintry Rimini. When his adult daughter suddenly turns up, demanding money, Richie’s world begins to collapse. His younger brother Ewald meanwhile is seeking to make a new beginning in a remote corner of Romania. With young boys from the area, he transforms a dilapidated school into a fortress, thereby arousing the parents’ suspicions. And in a nursing home in Austria, their father goes round in circles. „WICKED GAMES - Rimini Sparta“ is the combined and extended version of Ulrich Seidl’s diptych about unfulfilled longing and the pain of finding yourself.
